Because the S700 and S710 are designed as flexible Android terminals rather than fixed-purpose payment devices. Stripe built them to run custom software - either developed in-house or supplied by a partner agency like us. That flexibility is what lets Terminal integrate deeply with a business's existing systems and branding. The trade-off is that every merchant needs software on the device before it's ready to take payments. Stripe often refers merchants without in-house developers to partners like us for exactly this reason.
No - and that's an important distinction. Most Terminal solutions are built on Stripe Connect, which means opening a new Stripe account through the provider. That works well for some businesses, but it means different processing rates, a separate dashboard, and typically a commission on every transaction. We take a different approach: we build on the Stripe account you already have. Your rates, your dashboard, your data - all unchanged. You pay us a flat setup fee and a small monthly platform fee, and that's it.
Yes. Both are Android-based Stripe Terminal devices and the app runs on both. If you've got a mix across locations, that's fine - we deploy to all of them.
Faster than most people expect. Because our app is close to turnkey, we're usually ready to release within days of kickoff. The main variable is Stripe's app approval step, which we manage and have streamlined through repetition. If you have a specific launch date in mind, tell us - we'll confirm what's realistic up front.
You don't need any. This is the common case for our customers. The app stands alone - staff enter an amount, take the payment, done. We can add custom fields for reconciliation if useful (customer ID, invoice reference, etc.) but that's optional.
Hosting, security updates, Stripe API changes, and ongoing maintenance of the app on your devices. It's €75/month flat, regardless of how many transactions you process. We never take a percentage.
